Returns

Only UNOPENED ITEMS IN SALEABLE CONDITION may be returned within 30 days.  

Please contact us for a return authorization before shipping your return.

Except in cases where OudStrings is at fault (wrong items sent, for example), the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Exchanges

Opened items may only be returned in cases where the item is defective.

This does not mean that if you put on a string and it breaks, it is automatically defective..... putting on strings is a specific task and we are not responsible for putting on strings incorrectly or too quickly.

Defective will mean, in the case of strings, visible tarnish or kinks or warps, etc.  Contact us and send a photo of the defect and we will arrange an exchange.

We have certain strings that we offer on sale or clearance as  vintage  or NOS (New Old Stock) and are sold as is.  Such items are clearly marked on the product page and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
